De-Stress with the Help from Food

Let's face it, life can be stressful. It's hard to balance, work, family, back to school routines, dinner and finances etc. There is a lot on our minds on a daily basis. Things like irregular digestion, lack of energy and breakouts can all come with stress too.
Sometimes stress can be unavoidable, but there are ways to keep yourself energized and positive to face it!
Let's talk about some ingredients that can help to support your body when it's stressed. BONUS: all of the ingredients i'm going to talk about can be thrown into your smoothie when your eating on the go!
Blueberries & walnuts because one of the best ways to support your body when you're stressed is to focus on fighting inflammation. If you add these to your smoothie you will be filling your blender with fiber, potassium and antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids and manganese. 
Cinnamon for it's anti-inflammatory properties.
Lavender because it encourages a calm and relaxed state. Don't be afraid to add this to your smoothie!
Hemp seeds can also help to promote a calm feeling in your body.
Rose Hips help to support our body when it has an irritated stomach which can often be an affect from stress.
Carrots can help to protect your skin, giving your body support to keep it clear because of all of the beta-carotene in it.
Kiwis have more vit C per serving than oranges do! That means they can be an amazing source to keep your immune and nervous system strong during stressful phases.
Bananas and swiss chard are loaded with magnesium which helps to keep both your muscles and mind relaxed.
