Another win for almonds!
Almonds can be a key resource to a healthy diet. And so easy to include in a daily busy life!
A recent study was published in the Journal of Nutrition showing that just by eating a handful of almonds a day (for both adults and children) has the potential to drastically improve diets.
The study shared that the participants (kids and their parents) had an average diet going into this study. The parents then ate 1.5 ounces of almonds a day and the kids had 1/2 an ounce. A few weeks later, the diets were ranking above that average.
The findings....the researchers theorized that the almonds alongside the healthy protein, fibre and fats that the almonds contained, they helped people avoid other processed snacks and snacking too much.
Just a thought....the habits kids have now are carried to adulthood, why not create as many positive habits for them now!
