Can Your Face Serum Do ALL This
[vimeo 495567652 w=240 h=426]
Several years ago I said goodbye to buying all the expensive skin serum, moisturizers, eye creams, and everything else in between because I fell in love with a little DIY I whipped up!
Can your face serum do all this:
-
Keep your skin clear & make it glow!
-
Decrease dark circles & “bags” almost instantly
-
Seal & promote collagen production (hello anti-aging)
-
Help your body lose weight (hormone helper)
-
Support your brain & memory
-
Create a sense of calming & relaxing
-
Support your cardiovascular, immune, digestive, and immune systems?
-
and so much more….
We’re talking whole body wellness all wrapped up in my face serum!
The recipe:
Yarrow|POM (blend of yarrow essential oil with pomegranate seed oil)
**Vitamin E optional add-in
So besides the incredible benefits already mentioned, here’s a little more!
Jojoba Oil - this is a fabulous carrier oil / base because it mimics your natural oil and skin sebum. Jojoba is also one of those that will work well for anyone, no matter what your skin type.
Rosehip Oil - this one is supposedly amazing for evening out skin tone, scaring, sun damage, and so much more. It’s filled with essential fatty acids, vitamins A, C, and E.
Essential Oils - these 3 in this recipe are by far MY FAV. But there are endless options for which oils you like and work best for your needs! Check out the pic below for the top 10 uses of my 3 fav skin serum oils!
Here are some more great essential oils you could use:
All skin types - Yarrow|POM, clary sage, lavender, geranium
Dry Skin - Geranium, helichrysum, lavender, myrrh
Oily Skin - Eucalyptus, lemongrass, basil, melissa
Aging Skin - Clary sage, frankincense, myrrh, helichrysum, sandalwood
Sensitive Skin - Lavender, roman chamomile
Blemish Prone Skin - Clary sage, geranium, lavender, tea tree, sandalwood
Beautify & Nourish - Yarrow|POM, Frankincense, sandalwood, myrrh
Soothe & Calm - Yarrow|POM, Lavender, tea tree, geranium
Comfort & Cool - Helichrysum, cypress, peppermint
30ml Glass Dropper Bottle - I tend to grab the dark coloured ones (amber or blue) to protect the serum and not let the sunlight tough it!
So … what do you think?!?! Can your facial serum, moisturizer, etc do what mine can do?
