You've Got This Mama!

Yesterday threw me off my game!  Anyone else?  

It was the start of “online” learning for my kids and I was not prepared.

This was not like the Spring when  I could easily roll with it and make it work to fit with our family life and my business.

This week should be an interesting one!

Mamas - don’t forget you’re doing the best that you can do and giving whatever you can.  It’s going to look different for everyone - ignore everyone else, nobody’s situation is the same as yours. Focus on YOUR FAMILY and what you’re capable of - let the rest go - you’ve got this.

This is MY game plan - maybe it’ll help some of you, maybe some of you need to create your own - do what feels & works for you:

My Biz tasks for the week I’ve condensed and let go of the things that aren’t a “hell YES”.  I’ve also rearranged my work time to be early morning before everyone gets up and then after 2 of my boys go to bed.  

School:  Thank goodness my 13 year old is on his own for this.  The other 2 boys - I’ll have them online with the teacher during the scheduled time (as much as I can).  The work to do on their own - if they need help or we can combine things that’s what I’m all about even if it’s not exactly what they’re suppose to do!

PREP is huge!  Setting our workspaces up to focus (clear space and essential oils) is huge.  Taking an hour each morning with each kid to do the things they need help with or organize their time and get it done.

TAKE A BREAK!  Using timers for the kids to stop and do something they enjoy away from their workspace. 

STAY HYDRATED & NOURISHED - Keep water bottles handy! You know those lunch boxes you packed away?  Take them out and fill them up before the day starts with snacks and/or lunch too!  A little prep goes a long way especially if you juggling multiple kids and work at the same time.

MOVE THE BODY - get some sort of exercise - kids and mama (together or separate, whatever works best - my personal workout time is for ME only)

GET OUTSIDE - the fresh air and sun (if it’s shining where you are) will do incredible things for your body and mind!

So - we’re on Day 2 and things are running a little smoother over here - not perfect - no way! 

Perfect is not reality - our life is a beautiful mess and organized chaos?!?!
