Mid Summer Gut Bloat!
Bloated, sluggish, too many drinks, too much “good food”, so many cravings... anyone else feeling that mid summer “gut” bloat? Or having a harder time keeping things healthy?
The struggle is real! I’ve seen countless people (including myself) get caught up in the summer vibes of socializing!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying to cut it all out - just an observation of where I’m at and I think so are many of you!!!
I love to exercise, eat whole fresh food, I take vitamins daily, I’m always drinking water …. But then I get swept up in summer …. I fall out of the exercise routine (at least my norm) because the kids are home, and a million other excuses. I still eat incredibly healthy BUT then there’s those “extras” I allow myself. Water just isn’t quenching my thirst when friends are drinking ice cold “fun” drinks. Truthfully, summer to me is all about a different pace, hanging with friends, and enjoying my family.
BUT things start feeling a bit off physically and mentally! My quick tips for supporting you through the rest of the summer, feeling amazing in your body, be balanced, and working on the “gut”:
DRINK LOTS OF WATER …add a lemon or lime, or a drop of citrus eo
Take digestive enzymes with EVERY meal … especially when you eat the processed crap (I personally recommend doTERRA TerraZyme)
Move your body … if you can’t fit your regular workouts in, take an extra long walk, swim a couple laps, race your kids down the beach, play a sport, or get in 1 solid workout a week
Bump up those important supplements … now is even more important to feed your body what its lacking that gives you energy, supports the gut & a healthy metabolism, decreases pain, gives you better mental clarity…
And my FAV TIP for giving the body a little reset is this amazing combo in the pic: Yarrow|POM, Frankincense, Copaiba, Black Pepper, Pink Pepper, Grapefruit… 2 drops of each in an empty veggie capsule 2-3 times a day! Talk about thriving gut, humming metabolism, support for the hormones… this is my “magic skinny jean blend”!
Anyone else have a tip to pass on? Anyone else tried this blend? Comment below if you want to try this!!! Watch for PART 2 of this ....
