Feel It, Then Focus On The JOY!

Frustration, anger, fear, hopeless, confused, chaos... so many emotions, so many negative emotions, all these emotions and more are 100% valid and should be felt.

Feel it, express it, and then find a way to move into a “better place”. I’m not saying shove the emotions down and ignore them. I believe we need to feel and express them but then the problem is when we dwell in those negative emotions and can’t find our way out of them. The more you think about them, the worse they get.

There is so much in the world we can’t control but what you can control is your thoughts and actions.

What is something you can do today that fills you with joy, that lights you up, that makes things feel a little lighter. Do that!

Put something in your day everyday that allows you to breathe and feel good - it can be as simple as sitting with a cup of coffee or tea for 5min, or get outside, play a game, stay in bed 5 min extra... I jumped on the trampoline with my kids for 30min yesterday and it was such a breath of fresh air!!!!

Right now you have to be intentional with putting things in your day that make you smile and make the world feel a little lighter.
